The Introductory Course in X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy will take place from 1 to 5 June 2026
It will take place in the Polytech lecture theatre. This course is aimed at those new to the field as well as those wishing to refresh their knowledge.
The four-day programme aims to teach the theoretical and methodological foundations of X-ray absorption, as methods for determining local-scale structure.
By the end of the course, participants will have grasped the theoretical foundations of X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) and will be able to independently analyse EXAFS and XANES spectra. The session is open to early-career researchers, engineers and PhD students in chemistry, physics and biology, working in fields as diverse as materials science, catalysis, thin films and biochemistry…
Fees: €436.36 (excl. VAT)
Venue: Lecture Theatre 002, Building 31, Polytech school, Triolet Campus, Montpellier.
