Activités de Recherche:     
I am a theoretical physicist interested in the description of biological processes. The functioning of a cell requires the coordinated motion and positioning of various actors among which biopolymers (e.g., RNA and DNA) and proteins. Their interactions - and subsequent reaction and motion - can be described with a physical approach. My current projects include: (i) the description of DNA organization and segregation in bacteria (ii) the translation process in human cells (recruitment and motion of ribosomes on messenger RNA) and the role of translation in gene regulation.
