- Low temperature phases of rare gases adsorbed on single wall carbon nanotubes

Résumé:

We have studied an. influence of cylindrical substrate Corrugation on structures of a hypothetical LJ atomic gas adsorbed at low temperature. The general results of monolayer adsorption mechanism, are illustrated by examples of rare gases adsorbed, on armchair carbon nanotube. We have shown that the mechanism of adsorption depends on both energetic and structural factors that are characteristic for the nano tubes wall structures and theirs cylindrical geometry.
