I will present a technique on how to inspect causal links between time-series based on dynamical systems theory, mainly, on the Takens theorem. As an application, I will show how to determine climatic drivers of malaria epidemics in a particular site (Northern Argentina). A discussion of new applications and extensions closes the talk.
