I am a theoretical physicist interested in the description of biological processes. The functioning of a cell requires the coordinated motion and positioning of various actors among which biopolymers (e.g., RNA & DNA), proteins and molecular motors. Their interactions - and subsequent reaction and motion - can be described with a physical approach. My current projects include: (i) the bacterial DNA organization and segregation (with LMGM, Toulouse & TIMC, Grenoble); (ii) the translation of messenger RNA by ribosomes in human cells (with IGF & LIRMM, Montpellier); (iii) the spatial organization of chromosomes and epigenetic regulation in Drosophila via polycomb domains (with CBS & IGH, Montpellier); (iv) the bacterial flagella motion of E. coli through the recruitment of molecular motors (with CBS, Montpellier). Co-organizer (with I. Junier and J-Y. Bouet) of "Bacterial DNA supercoiling @ Sète" since 2019 in Sète, France.
