Presentation prize at the BIoEM international conference

This prize was awarded on Friday 28 June 2019 to Yoann Meriguet, a second year doctoral student funded by the Occitanie Region for his presentation on "Collective oscillations of proteins proven by terahertz spectroscopy in aqueous media", during the prestigious Bio-EM conference held from 23 to 28 June 2019 in Montpellier.

It was handed to M. Meriguet by the President of the European Bioelectromagnetic Association, René De Seze, and Professor Peter Siegel.
It rewards the work carried out as part of Yoann Meriguet’s thesis on the identification of collective oscillations of proteins placed out-of-equilibrium as a prerequisite of the activation of long-ranges electro-dynamic interactions.

This work is carried out in a close partnership between theInstitut d’Electronique et des Systèmes (IES) and the Laboratoire Charles Coulomb (L2C), under the joint direction of Dominique Coquillat and Jérémie Torres.
